While we’re on the topic of Twitter…

And while we’re all hopped up on the topic of Twitter, I wanted to give a shout out to a fellow blogger who I THINK (personally, me…) has probably put together the best list of Twitter Applications around.

Twitter apps are all over the place. Whether hooking it up to FriendFeed so that your updates feed to your Facebook status, or a simple widget that resides on your blog to keep your readers up to date (see right sidebar!) these applications allow you to utilize Twitter more effectively and really harness the power of the site.

Social Media, RSS, Twitter and the Future of the Real Estate Industry

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of speaking to the Chicagoland Women’s Council of RealtorsR on the power of Social Media in the marketplace. Originally titled, “Social Media – Do you Twitter?” I took a little creative liberty on myself and expaned the topic.

Making Sense of the Real Estate Web-World’s Future

Because many of the leading online real estate sites have opted to source listings directly from brokers, rather than becoming brokers themselves and displaying listings via IDX, there are many gaps in the inventory they display. Bring the Love Back – Not Just a Catchy Title

I saw this video yesterday for the first time, and am embaressed to say so. It is so brilliant and hits so spot-on, that I watched it over and over. Geert Desager and his team over at OpenHere have presented Bring The Love Back Please take a look:

About

Matthew Dollinger I would like to consider myself a real estate martyr, but I think that's a little drastic.

How I would like to position myself in the industry is somewhat of a "conduit" between agents/brokers and those continually innovating tomorrow's real estate model. I believe that Real Estate needs to ditch the mentality that it's "more than a business" and truly look to innovative companies, (regardless of industry), and learn from them. It's how we will grow and succeed in this marketplace.

I am constantly looking for new partners that share a passion for learning, innovating and implementing ideas. If you have a thought, idea, or would like to share, simply reach out to me.
